GAZODOO is a Cameroonian marketplace connecting customers with verified gas sellers in Douala, Yaoundé and beyond. We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with applicable Cameroonian data protection laws and best international practices.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, phone, language preference.
- Seller data: business name, location, products and prices.
- Activity data: sign-in history, device type, anonymized engagement events.
- Communications: messages you send via our contact form.
3. How we use your data
We use your data only to operate the marketplace: matching customers and sellers, securing accounts, preventing fraud, improving the service, and complying with the law. We never sell your personal data.
4. Sharing
Public seller information (business name, products, ratings) is visible to all visitors. Personal contact details are only shared when you explicitly tap "Call" or "WhatsApp". We use a small number of trusted infrastructure providers for hosting and email; they are bound by strict data processing agreements.
5. Security
We protect your data with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, row-level access controls, rate limiting, audit logging, and optional two-factor authentication. Backups are encrypted and retained for 7 days for disaster recovery.
6. Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time from your dashboard, or by writing to privacy@gazodoo.cm.
7. Cookies
We use a minimal set of cookies for authentication and language preference. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
